About US
On the first Sunday in November of 1981, the first Community Fellow ship service commence with 25 members in attendence. It was in this tiny building on 209 Bogle Street where six men from the Dalton community who had a desire to form a fellowship where all people would feel welcome and free to worship and experience the love of Jesus. The church was formed as and continues to function as an interdenominational church with emphasis on Christian doctrines of belief in one God, salvation through Jesus Christ, and the Bible’s authority. Rev. T.C. Simpson was the first pastor of the fellowship which he for led five years.
In May of 1986, Pastor Stephen Thomas was selected to pastor the fellowship, but by the early 1990s the church had outgrown the Bogle Street space. In 1991, the fellowship had a new facility constructed and moved into its new Frederick Street facility. Pastor Thomas was ordained as a Bishop on May 28,1995. Under the leadership of Bishop Thomas, the fellowship grew quickly and exponentially. The Lord impressed upon Bishop Thomas to not only minister salvation, but deliverance, healing, prophecy, prosperity, and hope to the oppressed teaching people to walk in the newness of Jesus Christ. In 2005, an additional construction project was completed at the church to include the addition of the Simpson Center—which housed administrative offices, the Russell Conference Room, the Garden Preschool, Bethlehem House of Bread food pantry, and The Garment of Praise Clothing Ministry. Bishop Thomas and his wife, Lady Dana, pastored the church until his death on February 3, 2023.

Core Beliefs
Acceptance: Be a body of believers where all are encouraged to embrace and live in the positional righteousness of the Kingdom of God.
Love: Create an atmosphere and conduct ourselves in a manner where all can experience and be confident in the grace, mercy, and love of God.
Accountability: Pursue Godly excellence in our behavior, our service, and in all of our
Kingdom assignments by being knowledgeable, responsible, hard-working, and by keeping our word.

What We Believe
About God: The eternal God is the one and only true God, Creator, and Ruler of the universe. He is
manifested in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
About Jesus: Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is equal with God, The Father. Jesus lived a sinless human
life and offered himself as the perfect sacrifice to reconcile man to God for the sins of men by
shedding his blood and dying on the cross. Jesus rose from the dead after three days to show his power over sin and death. He ascended to heaven and assured us he will return to the earth again to rule and reign as King of Kings.
About Salvation: Salvation is a gift from God to man. Man can never make up for sin by self-improvement or good works. God has offered forgiveness of sins to man only by the confession of sin and trusting in Jesus
Christ as the Lord of one’s life. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ into his life
by faith. Because God gives man eternal life through Jesus Christ, the believer is secure in salvation
for eternity. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God to enable righteous living, not by
self-effort.
